I stopped trading my weekly ETF multi-strategy system last year as it was underperforming the strategies I developed in RealTest. I wondered if there was a way to salvage all the work I had put into my ETF system. Late last year, I thought of an alternate method for selecting the ETFs to allocate to each week. Using the strategies exactly as they were structured before, I applied a new ETF selection methodology and was pleased to learn that it provided a better return than my original system.

There is one caveat, if you want to consider it as such, with my new system: it often allocates to only one ETF. For me, that isn’t an issue as I trade many strategies besides this one.

Since December 19, this system has been 100% allocated to EMXC.

If there is interest from others, I will consider resuming weekly postings to provide the ETF allocations.
