Today was a good day for traders with puts expiring as the market finished the week on a strong note. The positive price action resulted in two of my naked put trades closing with the stock price above the strike which means I didn’t have to take any action today and got the maximum profit. My third naked put trade, which was based on JD.com stock, did require me to buy back the puts to avoid assignment so that trade produced a small loss of 0.4%. The average annualized trade return of the three trades is 16.3% after commissions.
